16 mesh woven wire mesh has 16 wires to every inch in each direction. Our main 16 mesh is 0.35mm wire with a 1.23mm aperture, which gives 61% open area. We also stock 0.236mm wire with a 1.35mm aperture (72% open). We keep it in stainless steel 316 and aluminium, in rolls (1200mm wide, 1530mm wide, 1000mm wide). We cut lengths off the roll, and stock mesh goes out on next working day delivery anywhere in the UK.
Sold by the metre. We cut the length you need off the roll, so there’s no need to buy a full roll.

About KW16

What does mesh count mean?
Mesh count is the number of wires in one inch (25.4mm), so 16 mesh has a pitch of 1.587mm from the centre of one wire to the next. The aperture is the clear gap between the wires: the pitch less the wire diameter.
Rolls
16 mesh is stocked on the roll. We cut it to the length you need or supply full rolls, so just tell us the width and length when you ask for a price.
